The Tenzan Sake Brewery is located in Saga Prefecture in the northwest of Kyushu Island. In 1861, the Shichida family established a watermill here, where they brew the highest quality sake using the natural water from Mount Tenzan. This sake is brewed with fresh spring water from a pristine area known for its abundance of fireflies, then undergoes a long and slow second fermentation in the bottle. It is a clear, sparkling sake with no cloudiness, featuring an elegant aroma reminiscent of white peaches and almonds, with sweet notes of marshmallow and yogurt. A dry, clean flavour of rice, pears, and stone fruit with low acidity. Delicate effervescence and a clean finish.
