The recipe originally came from overseas, then was further developed as a Japanese-Western fusion by the traditional house of Katsuyama to create the highest level of flavour. Reduced alcohol content. The semi-dry ‘Lei Sapphire’ is an excellent accompaniment to French cuisine or cheese. With its soft structure, it is creamy on the palate and is characterised by a slightly spicy umami note on the finish.
