Sake brewer Mr. Takeshima strives to offer an affordable yet high-quality sake made with rice polished to a Junmai Daiginjo (50% polishing rate). The low price is made possible by using ordinary table rice. The color of the label for the "Sensation" series hints at the flavour: Black is rounded, acidic, and slightly dry; White is fruity and slightly sweet; and Red is light and refreshing. Fresh aromas of ripe melon, young gooseberry, and cherry blossom. A fruity, sweet sake with a mineral note, reminiscent of cherry blossom rice cakes. A smooth texture on the palate.
