About product

An elegant, semi-dry Kimoto Junmai Daiginjo with refined umami depth. Its clean flavor carries a natural richness, while the aroma is noble and understated. The texture is soft, silky, and remarkably delicate. "Minowamon" is Japan's first sake produced using the "Super-Flat" rice polishing method developed by Daishichi. This process involves evenly polishing each rice grain from all sides to remove components that impair the flavor. The name is derived from the main gate of Nihonmatsu Castle, which dates back to the Edo period.

DAISHICHI

Founded in 1752, the Daishichi Brewery has consistently adhered to a strictly orthodox brewing tradition: the kimoto method. Daishichi’s full-bodied, mellow sakes are all outstanding examples of kimoto-style sake. Daishichi’s history began when the Ohta family moved from the old Ise province to Nihonmatsu.

Daishich’s aim is to win recognition for kimoto sake as the best Japanese sake of all, and their mission is to share that pleasure with the world.
