About product

"Chikurin" means bamboo forest. The Marumoto Brewery is located at the foot of the Chikurin Temple Mountains, which offer sparkling, clear mountain water and fertile soil ideal for rice and sake. The brewery is often referred to as a "farmer's brewery" because it also grows rice. Their sustainability and dedication to their craft enable the highest quality sake production. A fruity, unpasteurised sake with a high viscosity. Distinctive fruit notes (green apple, table grapes) develop in the glass, with a lingering floral and sweet finish.
