“Kura no Shikon” literally means “the spirit of the master distiller” and was named as a tribute to all those who have passed on their knowledge and skills to the distillery workers over the past 130 years. Thanks to the highly developed distillation technology, the ripening of the sweet potatoes results in a citrus-like aroma in the fragrant final product. Fruity aromas of lychee and orange peel with a light touch of sweet potato. Citrus notes are evident in the mouth. A hint of bitterness accompanies a slightly sweet finish.
