The Chiran Distillery is located in the southern part of Kagoshima Prefecture. Chiran is also famous for its high-quality tea production. Chiran's tea and sweet potatoes are grown in a warm climate and well-drained soils due to volcanic activity. Shochu distilled from sweet potatoes, to which high-quality roasted green tea is added at the end of fermentation. A distinct aroma of roasted green tea, with notes of cocoa, musk, cedarwood, potpourri, flowers, brown sugar, and Assam tea. A pleasantly rich finish.
