'Nanbu Bijin' means "the beauty of the Ninohe region." The motto of the Nanbu Bijin Brewery is "to brew sake that brings a smile to people's faces like bright sunshine." Nanbu Bijin's flagship product, Special Junmai Sake, uses locally grown "Gin-Otome" sake rice and underground water to express the Ninohe terroir. Flavours of fresh apple, high-quality rice notes with some floral characteristics and marshmallow. Velvety texture, subtle. Spicy umami notes on the mid-palate. Dry, medium-bodied, and long-lasting.
