This sake is made from Yamada-Nishiki rice, grown only in the best areas (special Class A districts in Hyogo Prefecture). Yamada-Nishiki is one of the main varieties of sake-specific rice. This sake was voted Sake of the Year in the "Junmai Ginjo" category at the IWC 2020 Sake Trophy. The brewery, which won the title of "Brewer of the Year," is located in a flat valley surrounded by mountains, which contributes to the region's high rainfall. The region's soft spring water is of the highest quality and perfect for sake brewing. This Junmai Ginjo has aromas of melon, persimmon, and a hint of herbs, with an elegant texture on the palate and a bouquet of tropical fruits with a beautifully crisp finish.
