About product
"Chikurin" means bamboo forest. The Marumoto Brewery is located at the foot of the Chikurin Temple Mountains, which offer sparkling, clear mountain water and fertile soil ideal for rice and sake. The brewery is often referred to as a "farmer's brewery" because it also grows rice. Their sustainability and dedication to their craft enable the highest quality sake production. Daiginjo Sake. Its high viscosity makes it particularly smooth and intensely aromatic, with pronounced fruit notes, balanced acidity, and a florally sweet, lingering finish. The harmoniously rounded flavour is created by blending sake from different vintages (approx. 3-5% each), stored at -5°C.
