Fujii distillery is a small, family-owned distillery located in the southern part of Oita Prefecture, in the quaint town of Chitose, with a population of around 2,000 people. Founded in 1929, the distillery has been dedicated to crafting handcrafted shochu for generations. The president, who also serves as the toji (master brewer), oversees the production process in this traditional, small-scale operation. Due to its old-fashioned methods, the distillery produces only a limited amount of shochu, but they are committed to offering customers truly exceptional barley shochu. A complex mild aroma of cocoa, chocolate, roasted nuts. Produced by atmospheric distillation. Its characteristics are powerful and deep, with a full-bodied, multi-layered taste.
