About product
The Komasa Distillery is located in the southern part of Kagoshima Prefecture. 'Kozuru' is a small crane fluttering in the sky. The shochu is named after the crane, whose magnificent appearance represents dreams of the future. This shochu is made from a blend of koji barley and rice. For at least three years, it matures in Japanese oak barrels to maximize the quality of the high-quality raw materials. It has a delicate, sweet, and elegant aroma of vanilla, honey, and woody notes. On the palate, it has a mild texture, with a taste of roasted nuts lingering on a sweet aftertaste.
